Vaco has partnered with a PE backed manufacturing / fabrication organization in their search for an ERP Analyst. In this role, you will develop and implement functional solutions for the ERP application in our manufacturing/Distribution organization.
Primary Job Duties:
- Leads the solution design, configuration, solution development and deployment of implementation projects for ERP software with a focus on operations and supply chain functionality
- Collaborates with all departments to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by the information systems and technology, such Warehousing, Inventory, distribution, Order to Cash, Procure to pay, SQL support, troubleshooting and updates
- Serves as an advisor to the business regarding ERP software, how to use it and how it can support the business
- Responds to inquiries and provides advice regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs
- Acts as liaison with Information Technology and/or outside vendors to support relevant systems
- Determines how changes will affect customers, employees and systems
- Provides recommendations regarding the evolution of the system
- Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to stakeholders
- Maintains and ensures proper documentation and coordinates or performs testing of system modifications
- Researches and analyzes the nature, effect, and results of system difficulties
- Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices.

Primary Competencies:
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (Tribute Trulinx a plus) configuration, data requirements and processes within manufacturing and distribution environments with a focus on Operations and Supply Chain and administration
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data and synthesize into meaningful and actionable insights and reports
- Project management to ensure initiatives are delivered on schedule, on budget, and on quality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Extremely organized with great attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to change, learn quickly and creatively solve new problems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or other relevant field
- Five years of relevant ERP experience in a manufacturing or distribution business with a focus on operations and supply chain
- Experience or familiar with one or more of the following is highly preferred:
- Microsoft Power BI
- Ability to gather business requirements and produce scope documents that bridge the gap between business processes and Trulinx functionality
- Prior experience merging newly acquired companies into existing ERP system
- Working knowledge of SQL Server stored procedures and Table schemas, and data import methods
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot system issues
- Able to perform the physical demands of the job including:
- Ability to safely navigate a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use office, phone and computer equipment
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 lbs
